The Tennant 3640 Battery-Powered Walk-Behind Sweeper provides powerful sweeping performance in a compact and easy-to-use design. Built for commercial and light industrial facilities, it handles everything from fine sand to larger pieces of litter.

Because the 3640 runs on battery power, it works especially well indoors. However, Tennant also designed it for outdoor applications. Therefore, one machine can handle warehouses, production areas, sidewalks, loading areas, parking structures, and other hard-floor environments.

Sweep More Area in Less Time

The Tennant 3640 offers a 32-inch cleaning path with a single side brush. With dual side brushes, the cleaning path increases to approximately 40 inches.

The 24-inch main brush uses a direct-throw sweeping system to move debris into the hopper. Meanwhile, the side brushes pull dirt away from walls, corners, and edges.

As a result, the 3640 can clean up to 25,000 square feet per hour. That makes it a productive alternative to manual sweeping in larger facilities.

Large Debris Hopper

Stopping frequently to empty a sweeper reduces productivity. Fortunately, the 3640 provides a large-capacity debris hopper.

The hopper holds up to 3 cubic feet of light litter. For heavier material, it can hold approximately 1.5 cubic feet of sand. Additionally, the hopper has a maximum weight capacity of 130 pounds.

An optional hopper dump-assist system is also available. This feature helps tilt the hopper from its cradle and makes debris disposal easier.

Excellent Dust Control

The standard Tennant 3640 uses a large 39-square-foot panel filter. The standard filtration system provides 92% filtration efficiency at 3 microns.

For facilities requiring additional dust control, an optional HEPA filtration system is available. Therefore, the machine can be configured for applications where controlling fine dust is especially important.

Battery-Powered Performance

Battery power makes the 3640 an excellent choice for indoor commercial and industrial cleaning.

Depending on battery configuration and operating conditions, runtime can reach approximately four hours or more. Additionally, the machine operates at only 71 dBA at the operator’s ear.

The self-propelled drive system reaches speeds up to 2.9 mph. Variable-speed propulsion also allows the operator to adjust the machine to the application.

Consequently, operators can cover large areas without the fatigue associated with pushing a manual sweeper.
